Duke Evers was a minor character in the Rocky series. Not a very important one, but I remember him a bit.

He was the trainer and manager of Apollo Creed back when he was heavyweight champion of the world. Stuck with him throughout the entirety of his career including the death of the former boxing champ against Ivan Drago.

Thought it was sweet that he didn’t mind working with Rocky especially after Apollo Creed’s death. Coming in as important part of Team Balboa.
