Ivan Drago was the main antagonist of Rocky IV and my personal favorite villain in the series.

He arrives during the height of America versus Russia propaganda during the Cold War. As the Soviet Union sends him to compete in American boxing.

He was definitely one of the most impressive boxers in the whole series. Russia really went to great lengths to train his body to be almost unstoppable.

For which Apollo Creed found out too little, too late that Ivan Drago could kill him easily. And Ivan does, without much effort.

Which infuriates Rocky and his path of revenge decides to take him in a match right in the Soviet Union.

Such a great fight, especially when Rocky wins. We find out in the Creed movies that he was disgraced in his country and eventually moved to Ukraine (when it became its own country) after the fall of the Berlin Wall.
