Toto is one of the most important characters in The Wizard of Oz despite not doing much, because Toto is just a dog after all…

The pet of Dorothy Gale, Toto ends up pissing off the OG Karen and the mean old lady tries to get the poor pup put to sleep forever.

And Toto accompanies Dorothy to the Land of Oz and miraculously survives.

Toto was also the one that found out that the Wizard of Oz was a phony and sensed him behind the curtain, while his facade was tricking the rest of the group.
