Despite The Wizard of Oz being the titular character, he’s one of the least important in the whole movie. Nevertheless, a likeable (yet flawed) guy.

He’s the supposed ruler of the main city of Oz. Yet, this great and powerful wizard can’t do nothing about two wicked witches…

Because he’s an absolute fraud, he’s a human from Kansas just like Dorothy Gale.

And she isn’t happy to learn he isn’t a practicing member of magical arts. He didn’t go to Emerald Hogwarts, he’s a green wearing Muggle.

And the prices he offered the three companions are hilariously terrible. He basically gave Scarecrow a diploma from Trump University.
