Platinum is a lot more rare than gold and if you were to be in an olympic size swimming pool with all the platinum that’s ever been mined, it would only be at your ankles. While Platinum may be rare on the Earth, it actually occurs more often on the moon and on meteorites.
I would have thought it would have been in more abundance than that. Interesting.
