Things I Like: Mr. Pink (Reservoir Dogs)

Mr. Pink is one of the main characters in Quentin Tarantino’s movie Reservoir Dogs. He’s not exactly a good person, but he’s definitely a likable character. This is also one of Steve Buscemi’s first major roles.

He’s just like the rest of the team—a criminal hired by Joe Cabot to help with the diamond heist. I don’t remember much of his backstory, and I’m pretty sure they never reveal his actual name.

But when things go south and the diamond heist becomes dangerous, he definitely does not care about collateral damage or the lives of the police officers chasing him.

But he was one of the first characters—if not the very first—to figure out that the team had been sabotaged by an undercover cop working with them.

Some fans of the movie believe that he was the only one to walk away and survive, as he manages to grab the briefcase of diamonds and leave the hideout. However, if you listen closely to the background audio, you can hear him having a standoff with the police and being shot—presumably to death.
