Marcellus Wallace is a minor but notable character in Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction. Although we don’t see much of him until the very end, he is frequently mentioned because he is the feared gangster boss.

It’s a bit hard to tell what kind of boss he is to work for, but he seems to be cool with those who are loyal to him. Interestingly, he appears to have only one woman in his life—his wife, Mia. You have to respect him for being loyal.

One of his most notable moments is when he walks out of a bakery and unexpectedly crosses paths with Butch—the man he’s been wanting to kill. It’s a tense and ironic encounter.

Then there’s the chaotic scene where, after Butch runs him over, they both end up in that bizarre pawn shop.

What follows is unspeakable, but in the end, Butch saves Marcellus’s life, and they manage to forgive each other—for the most part. And honestly, I can’t blame Marcellus for wanting to exact some medieval-style revenge on that corrupt cop.
I liked that this character was able to get his revenge.
