Fun Facts and Trivia About Hulk Hogan

Fun Facts trivia and things you never knew about Hulk Hogan ANIME ART OF WRESTLER HULK Hogan

Hulk Hogan was born Terry Gene Bollea in Augusta, Georgia, in 1953.

Hogan was a WWF (now WWE) Champion six different times. He also jumped ship to a rival wrestling promotion, WCW, among others. He began wrestling in 1977 and retired in 2012.

Hogan was married three times—the longest to Linda Claridge, then to Jennifer McDaniel, and finally to Sky Daily. His last two wives were considerably younger than he was.

Hogan had two children: Brooke, with whom he later became estranged, and Nick.

In his youth, he was as a promising pitcher until an elbow injury crushed those baseball dreams.

Hogan was the first professional wrestler to appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated.

Vince McMahon Sr. gave him the stage name Hulk Hogan and suggested he dye his hair red, but Hogan refused.

Some of his prototype ring names included Terry Boulder, Sterling Golden, Hulk Machine, Mr. America, and Super Destroyer.

He once claimed that Elvis Presley was a big fan of his—despite Presley having died before Hulk’s wrestling fame, making the claim highly questionable.

While his reality TV show Hogan Knows Best was popular, Hogan said it was stressful and ultimately contributed to his divorce.

He appeared in several films, including a cameo in Rocky III, but described most of his movie roles as “dumb little kid movies.”
