Harlan Rook is the final villain of the Dirty Harry series in the last movie The Dead Pool. He was the most similar antagonist to the original bad guy Scorpio but in a cheaper imitation sort of way. I am not sure if he was based on a real life serial killer like Scorpio was based on the Zodiac, but they could have written him better.

He suffers from multiple personality disorder and is obsessed with a film director.

He even captures Harry’s final love interest, but she manages to escape with her life.

Then he decides, like all the unlucky fools before him, to kill Harry Callahan before the renegade cop tries to arrest him. He did not really seem to be that dangerous of a killer, especially in a fairly balanced fight with an experienced cop who was the San Francisco police version of Obi Wan Kenobi.

Harry kills him with a harpoon, which sounds impressive on paper, but his revolver was always the coolest weapon in my opinion.
