Michael Myers is arguably one of the scariest horror movie villains of all time. And little did anyone know, a future SNL member, Mike Myers, would later create some humorous confusion. He was cheaply made with an inside-out Captain Kirk mask from Star Trek, spray-painted white, yet he became a legend.

In the original movie, he’s an unexplained madman who stalks his prey and manages to terrify the audience before anyone even dies. His old psychiatrist is on a mission to find him and becomes more like his hunter rather than his doctor.

His original massacre was relatively tame, though it remains my favorite one. Sometimes less is more, like Charmin toilet paper advertisements.

Then he becomes superhumanly strong and ridiculously hard to kill. With each movie, it takes more and more to bring him down, yet he keeps getting back up. Even after police drop countless bullets in him.

And he’s allegedly died and come back so many times it’s ridiculous. But a good horror franchise is indeed milked for all it can be sometimes.
