Klaus Barbie was a Gestapo Nazi who committed unspeakable crimes against humanity. After the war, the United States employed him for being anti-communist. He eventually worked in Bolivia doing far-right political evils. France eventually got a hold of him and had him put in prison where he later died.
I had no idea the United States had employed him, very weird, he should have been thrown in jail straight away!
