Fun Fact: L’Oiseau Blanc

The L’Oiseau Blanc (White Bird) was a French plane that was flown by two experienced French pilots attempting to make the first nonstop trip over the Atlantic. After being spotted over Ireland, they were never seen again as their plane never reached New York City. Charles Lindbergh would do this feat successfully not long afterward.
