Princess Azula was one of the best written villains, especially for a Nickelodeon show. We first see her at the very end of season one. She is the younger sister of Prince Zuko, and the favorite child of Fire Lord Ozai.

Her first mission is to capture her brother and uncle and take them back for punishment. You see her vicious nature pretty quick.

She was even psycho as a child. Just as evil as her father, maybe even more.

Her friends were an interesting bunch. But eventually they all have a falling out.

But she does what no other Fire Lord had done, and she conquers the Earth Kingdom from within.

She gets pretty bad near the end of the series. I’m surprise she really hadn’t killed anybody, at least on screen.

Her father decides to become ruler of the world. So he lets her be the new fire lord which makes little sense to be honest. She’s almost crowned until her brother challenges her for the throne.

Their showdown was pretty epic. Her blue fire was always really impressive. Not even her father had the blue fire.

I was glad to see Katara capture her.
