Sonic the Hedgehog has been a part of the childhood of many millennials and probably the majority of Generation Z as well. Talks of a Sonic the Hedgehog movie have been around since the early 90s. Last year I had seen a lot of positive buzz about Sonic the Hedgehog. But I found it rather disappointing after that little bit of hype. It does many things right, but it’s really not that special. It being good for a video game movie, just means it’s okay as a regular movie.

Score: C+
