At Forest City’s Carolina Arcade Museum was World Cup Soccer, a pinball game made by Bally-Midway in 1994. It was made in honor of the 1994 FIFA World Cup which was held in the United States. The dog in the art is the 1994 World Cup’s mascot Striker. Also America didn’t win the World Cup that year, they lost in the first major round to the eventual champion, Brazil.
I’m not really a fan of soccer so the pinball machine wasn’t my favorite. But it’s an okay one. I’d assume soccer fans would like it more than I. Though it doesn’t seem to mix much of the sport’s rule with pinball like the football and baseball one I played there.
