This previous Saturday, we had a family trip to the local Renaissance Faire.

They used to have it in north Greenville County but now it’s in the heart of Greer, South Carolina. It’s a lot bigger than it used to be.

This giant dragon was very epic.

There were many people wearing pretty awesome costumes. Though I will say, I don’t really trust that guy in the middle.

There’s even some costumes there that were pre-medieval.

Everything was pretty kid friendly. Princess L enjoyed having her face painted.

Some of the braver kids could fight a night with a foam sword.

And kids could even learn how to dance

Before we left we got to see a traditional sword fight.

They should definitely move next year’s event to a more cooler temperature. We had a good time despite the Sun and the heat.
