I remember when the game was shown off. The whole Killer 7 heritage was good and bad for it’s reputation.

I never played Killer 7 myself, but I liked the combat of No More Heroes. Star Wars meets Japanese Samurai Weirdness.

Motorcycle levels No More Heroes

The sandbox game-play of the main hub-world was pretty awful. There was really nothing to do besides a few odd jobs.

Travis Touchdown vs Shinobu No More Heroes

Despite that BS, I loved the boss fights. Each rank fight was epic and I couldn’t wait to see the next challenge.
