Harry Burnett Reese had worked for Hershey in Pennsylvania. He later went independent and invented in his basement a candy with chocolate and peanut-butter. He called them Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. Founding his own company, he was a success. When he died, his sons merged his company with his old employer, Hershey.
