William Randolph Hearst may have been one of the most successful people in the newspaper business, but he wasn’t exactly the greatest person about keeping journalism unbiased. Hearst did not support the idea of U.S. troops being used in the first World War, and when the Lusitania sank, his papers made the tragedy seem less heartbreaking.
