Narciso Gener Gonzales was a newspaper journalist who founded The State Newspapers in South Carolina. Using his paper, he ruined the aspects for Lieutenant Governor James H. Tillman to become Governor. Tillman shot him in broad daylight and was legally exonerated for the obvious first degree murder on the claim of “self defense.”
