I’ve been meaning to catch up on the DC Comics animated movies I’ve missed over the years. Batman vs Robin being one of them, as I knew this Robin was not Dick Grayson, but Bruce Wayne’s biological son Damian Wayne.

The story takes place not long after Damian Wayne comes to America after the events of Son of Batman. Bruce Wayne tries to come up with an idea that he’s his ward instead of his biological son to the public.

But the new Robin is very independent and he’s not very eager to stay at the Wayne Mansion.

The movie features a group of villains known as the Court of Owls and I wasn’t really familiar with them. They seemed a little too powerful for their own good.

The main villain of the movie is Talon and I wasn’t aware of him at all before the movie. He had his potential but I didn’t think he was an outstanding baddie or anything.

Batman vs. Robin kind of hovers in the middle of quality in the DC animated movie universe. It’s a decent plot and story but they definitely didn’t take the time or energy to make it amazing.
