I’ve been recently watching the DC Comics animated movies and viewing sequel after sequel. I finally got to Teen Titans: The Judas Contract. I never read the comics so I didn’t know what to expect.

The movie starts 5 years before but with a much younger team and different era of Teen Titans. Which didn’t make sense to me at first.

But it was a way to introduce how Dick Grayson met his future girlfriend Starfire while he was still Robin.

The main villain of the movie is Brother Blood. He absolutely despises the Teen Titans and has an army of cult members to back him up.

I did kind of figure out the secret of the movie pretty darn early on. No spoilers but it’s obvious.

I did enjoy seeing Deathstroke who is often an adversary of Teen Titans.

Like its predecessor Justice League vs Teen Titans, The Judas Contract is a good but not great film. It will satisfy fans but never drag outsiders in. I got a few more movies to watch in this micro universe that Warner Brother set up for the DC Comics animated movies.
