We spent our Thanksgiving at her mother’s house. This is obviously Alex’s first Thanksgiving. He went a little nuts when he saw everybody eating at the table, but we had baby food sweet potatoes ready for him. He definitely made a mess of himself, but he enjoyed his first Thanksgiving.

To be perfectly honest, Thanksgiving is my least favorite holiday. I don’t like a lot of the food, relatives I dislike, and of course this year became a hub of Republican right wing conspiracy theories at the table. But my wife and the kids make the holiday more enjoyable than the Thanksgivings in the past.
