There’s not many characters that got the short end of the stick as much as Stuart Bloom . He’s a likable guy, but his de-evolution is pretty intense as the series goes on.

When he’s first introduced, he’s the owner of the comic book store the guys always frequent. He actually manages to get a date with Penny, but by the end of the series, we have long forgotten that brief romance.

They quickly write him as a low confidence loser who can’t do anything right. Always out of money, and down on his luck. Things get pretty bad for him when his comic book store burns down.

If anything wacky happens to any of the characters, it was usually him. Kind of feel bad for his actor, because I doubt he really enjoyed being this goofball. Besides the paychecks, of course. Can’t feel THAT BAD.

They somehow managed to have him bounce back by the end of the show. He opens up a new comic book store and manages to date the nerdy girl that works for him. I definitely was happy for him.
