Bert Kibbler was a decent minor character on the show. I’m pretty sure he wasn’t in the original early seasons. But he worked at Caltech with the other guys, but as a geologist.

The most notable thing I remember about him was Bert winning that big award with the huge cash prize and Sheldon was so hilariously jealous of it.

But he was kind of a creepy guy. He definitely needed a long-term relationship.
