In my opinion, this was Calypso at his peak. Thankfully Twisted Metal 2 animated the endings instead of leaving it text-only like the original.

If I remember right, this takes place one year after the first Twisted Metal. And instead of just destroying Los Angeles, California he sets his sights on the world for his little tournament.

Just like last time, the victor is supposed to be getting a wish from Calypso.

And while some do have happier endings, he often corrupts wishes like a monkey’s paw and the winner gets either killed or cursed by the twisting of the wish. But in a few endings, it is actually Calypso being the one to die.
