On my birthday in the middle of the afternoon, we kept hearing sirens go off really close to the house. Turns out the fire department dropped by for some little girl’s birthday party and they toured the neighborhood after they were done.

My step daughter Princess L had a lot of fun using the fire hose. Funny enough, this isn’t our house she’s getting the driveway wet on.

They also had two mascots. The first one was a Dalmatian that you saw on the first picture and the other is obviously the tiger above.

Unfortunately Baby Alexander was not a fan at all. They gave him a cute firefighter hat but seeing things that aren’t really animals nor really people absolutely freaked him out. But he did calm down at the end when he saw the dalmatian take off his hat and noticed that it was just a regular guy underneath the costume. But this was the first time I really got to see Alexander tremble with fear.
