Michael Scott was the first Apple CEO as Steve Jobs was not considered experienced enough to take the role originally. Scott apparently had a habit of annoying him and he infuriated Jobs by making him employee number two and Steve Wozniak employee number one in the identification system. Eventually Steve Jobs had the control to officially make himself employee number zero, so nobody would be technically above him.
