Duncan was a minor character on the sitcom Friends but he had a fairly memorable storyline for his very brief appearance, in my opinion.

As he was the legal husband of Phoebe Buffay. They got married so he could have a green card because he was Canadian. She had deep feelings for him but he told her that he was gay but eventually tells her he was straight so he could get divorced from her and marry the woman he actually loved.

And she sort of forgives him, but she’s definitely heartbroken.
