Andor came out last year, I think for Disney+ and it was definitely one of the most unique Star Wars projects.

The show is a prequel to Rogue One, which itself was a prequel to the original Star Wars film. The main hero of the story is Cassian Andor, whom I forgot was vaporized by a Death Star blast with Jyn Erso. Which makes the purpose of this television series a little puzzling to me.

Like the actual Star Wars prequel trilogy, this one is definitely delving a lot into space politics. But we actually get to see the politics of the Galactic Empire, rather than the Old Republic.

I will give Andor credit for making the show feel very much like it is part of the old original trilogy. Just without a lightsaber in sight.

But it is a very slow paced, and in my opinion; a very boring television show.

I hear the season picks up but I got about halfway through and quit. Which is something I rarely ever do with television shows. The toxic Star Wars fan base apparently liked this one a lot but Disney did not get the buzz they wanted in viewer numbers as I remember them trying so hard to get people to watch it. They even resorted put it on Hulu for a while.
