Aemma Arryn was the first wife of King Viserys I on House of the Dragon. She seemed to be a very sweet and lovely queen.

And her and her royal husband seem to be very deeply in love. Even though she was an Arryn, her mother was a Targaryen and technically they were first cousins. Which ain’t bad for Targaryens as they too often did way worse incest.

But she dies when her unborn son is being delivered. Where the maesters have to basically give her a cesarean delivery but they did not know how to do it properly, which meant certain death. Horrifically, she wasn’t given a choice. Even though she was on the screen for a brief time, her death in my eyes really makes me want to cry.
