I’ve been meaning to watch The Lego Star Wars Holiday Special for about 3 years now, but every time I think about watching it, it’s not really Christmas time. But this year I finally managed to overcome my ADD and sat down and watched it.

The film takes place after the events of The Rise of Skywalker. Rey Palpatine and her friends are celebrating the Wookie holiday Life Day.

But she finds an artifact that opens up portals and takes her back to various points of time that are important to both Jedi and the Sith.

Such as Luke Skywalker’s training with Yoda on Dagobah.

Or Han Solo almost defeating Darth Vader in ship to ship combat.

But it doesn’t take long for her to break every time traveling rule in the book and create absolute chaos in its wake.

Without spoiling too much more, I will say that I enjoyed but didn’t quite love the Lego Star Wars Holiday Special. It was a cute idea and there’s some decent jokes, but compared to something like The Lego Batman Movie, this is definitely far less quality.
