Big Daddy is definitely one of my favorite Adam Sandler movies. Ranking close to Billy Madison or Happy Gilmore.

The concept of the movie is a bit bizarre. The kid Julian obviously had a father that was Sonny’s roommate and he decides to unofficially adopt the kid without talking to anybody about it.

Which is a reason his girlfriend Vanessa left him. But I found it odd that she dumped him for an old dude that could have been her grandfather.

I’ll never forget the kangaroo song LOL or Scuba Steve.

I really liked his love interest Layla Maloney of the movie. She wasn’t drop dead gorgeous but she seemed very sweet and motherly.

I also remember watching the sitcom Friends after watching Big Daddy and realizing that this was the kid (well in truth twins) that played Ross’ son Ben Geller.
