Murph is a minor character in Mr. Deeds, being played by Peter Dante a decade before his controversial incident that caused him to never work with Adam Sandler or Happy Madison Productions ever again.

The character of Murph really isn’t much, just like most of Dante’s other roles. He’s just some kind of weirdo that lives in Deeds’ hometown, often showing up at the pizza restaurant.

And like the rest of the town, he benefits when Deeds gets a bunch of money at the end of the movie and buy some expensive red cars.
