The team at Quake were not universally happy about the final product. Many of the team members left, including co-founder John Romero who claims he received no money for the project. He made Daikatana many years later, for which he said was what Quake was supposed to be. Despite this claim, most video game fans considered it to be one of the worst video games of all time.
