Unlike Judaism, Christians see Satan as a fallen angel. Though, he was technically not mentioned as the snake in the Garden of Eden but was listed as the cause of illness and temptation in the world. A lesser known story of his in the Bible is him becoming a red dragon and taking out 1/3 of the sun, 1/3 of the Moon, and 1/3 of the stars in the sky. He was then defeated by Michael the archangel, bounded for 1,000 years, and thrown into the Lake of Fire. The Bible also claims that he was the supernatural ruler of the Roman Empire.
