A2 is one of the most notable characters in the video game NieR: Automata, even though I didn’t get to spend much time with her during my own playthrough. If you beat the game twice, you get to play as her in the final playthrough. Unfortunately, I didn’t have much free time, so I opted not to go through that part — and I regret it a little.

During my playthrough, YoRHa tells 2B and 9S that A2 is some kind of criminal and extremely dangerous. That alone made her feel intriguing and exciting to watch.

You even get to fight her in a boss battle, and she definitely proves she’s no pushover.

Interestingly, the battle ends in a stalemate, and she disappears afterward — while hinting that YoRHa might not be the noble organization it claims to be.

Since I didn’t play through her full arc, I don’t know all the details, but I can definitely sense that there’s more going on beneath the surface.
