Local Crust is a new pizza place that opened in the shopping center that was recently built near my house last year. I am a big pizza connoisseur, especially since I have ARFID, and pizza is one of my few safe foods. They actually rented the space back in August or September but did not open until December of 2025. It is a carryout-only place, as there is no seating/dining area.

It looks like they hired a local artist to paint a mural, and she was still working on it when I came in to pick up my pizza. This was at least two weeks after they opened. I have to give her kudos, because all the customers coming in and out would distract me way too much if I were in her position.

I ended up buying an extra large cheese pizza, but to be honest, I was kind of disappointed. It is good, just not THAT good in my opinion. It did pass the cold test, meaning I can eat the leftovers without needing a microwave, which is important to me. Still, I think I paid around sixteen dollars for it, and I just did not feel like it was worth the price. That is a shame, because it is by far the most convenient place for me to get pizza.

Shame it wasn’t too good.

Too bad the pizza wasn’t quite up to your standards. But, the wall art looks like fun.
I think I’d be ok with a $16 pizza if it were convenient and passed the cold test. Just one of those places that you head to when you want food quickly without hassle.
