Snip-its is a haircut place that my stepdaughter Lily really likes, but I had not taken my son Alex there for a haircut since he needed his ears lowered. I usually take him to Sharky’s, but that Saturday we did not plan very well and they had no openings. He really needed a haircut, so we took him here anyway.

The first thing he did was go straight to the toys and pick out a fire truck. He can be a bit of a spoiled little boy sometimes.

He has also had some anxiety about getting his haircut because he does not like his hair wet. His hairstylist was very patient with him, though. I think being in a new haircut place was also part of why he was not too fond of it this time. He did get to watch Paw Patrol on a tablet, which helped distract him at times.

I think he looks pretty fantastic. Even though I have never had blond hair, this photo especially reminds me so much of me at his age.

We ended up buying him the fire truck and a Captain America doll since mommy is a bit of a sucker. They also give out free prizes to any kid who gets a haircut. They send it through a opening, and he got a sucker and a bunch of tiny dinosaurs because that is what he asked for.

He’s a wee cutie Adam and your double! Nice haircut. My daughter enjoyed her haircut. Had to laugh at, “since mommy is a bit of a sucker”. That is me lol, her dad doesn’t give in but I do! They know how to play your don’t they!
