Rustic Farms Pizza Cove is a pizza restaurant I’ve been meaning to try for a while, but it’s located in the Berea area of Greenville, South Carolina, which is fairly inconvenient for me to drive to. My wife’s hairdresser actually works in the same building, though, so after taking her to a hair appointment, we decided to grab lunch there.

The place is put together really well in terms of interior decor. It’s very clean, has a great theme, and while we were there, it was extremely quiet. To be fair, we were among the first customers on a weekday morning, so I imagine it’s much busier on a Friday night or Saturday than it was during the Wednesday morning we visited.

I ordered a small cheese pizza, which turned out to be much bigger than I expected, and it was actually fantastic. I wouldn’t call it the best pizza in Greenville, South Carolina, but it’s definitely among the top five in my opinion. I think my wife ordered a Philly cheesesteak with fries, and while my vegetarianism and ARFID keep me from trying the cheesesteak itself, I did sample some of her french fries, and those were pretty darn good too. So if I ever have to take her to another hair appointment, I’ll definitely be tempted to eat here again, especially if we have a little room in the budget. Things have been tighter than usual because of the medical bills from the difficult journey she’s endured through breast cancer treatment and recovery.
I enjoy your dining outings. Hope the healthcare expenses ease off and your wife’s health continues to improve.
