Jack Nicholson was born to an unwed mother who said she wasn’t certain of his true father. He was raised by his maternal grandparents as if he was their child. Only learning that his “sister” was really his mother as a young man.
This movie used to freak me out when I was little. Had a lot of celebrity cameos in it too. Most of them awful. The aliens were creepy, and annoying. Mostly annoying. It was a stupid movie based on some dumb trading cards. I’m glad they lost money on it.
I never read the novel though I hear it differs from it, and King was noted to dislike the film version. The movie is about Jack, and his wife Wendy and their son Danny.
