Dr. Emmett Brown was perhaps my favorite over Marty in the Back to the Future film trilogy. This goofy scientist was always up something.
His greatest invention by far was his DeLorean time machine. Something he tested right before his own murder by Libyan terrorists.
Luckily for Marty McFly, Doc Brown was still alive in 1955 a timeline he was now stuck in. And he was quite helpful in getting Marty safely into the future. And luckily Marty gave him a letter warning him of his murder, so he prevented it.
So he uses his time machine to visit the future, which was his original plan. He warns Marty of a terrible 2015 takes him there to change future history. After much drama, his DeLorean gets stuck in 1885.
Through a letter sent by Western Union, he informs Marty not to come back for him. But Marty realizes that Doc Brown was murdered in 1885 so he goes back in time to save him. Doc Brown and Marty use a train to push the DeLorean up to 88 miles an hour.
He stays behind to save his love in 1885. Marty soon sees him in a time powered train. So he truly got a happy ending.
