Since 2015, the musical Hamilton has been one of the most popular Broadway plays ever made. It’s mainly about the life of Alexander Hamilton, one of the most forgotten founding fathers in American history. I was a bit shocked to see Disney+ announce a film version. I had never seen Hamilton, so I was a little excited to see what it was all about.

The musical is a loose and creative telling of the life of Alexander Hamilton. They even cover his life with his extremely humble beginnings in the Caribbean. Alexander Hamilton would later rise as one of the most notable figures in the American Revolution.

They also have many notable figures in Alexander Hamilton’s life. You have good friends such as George Washington. Taking a big notable role is Aaron Burr, whom anybody who knows the story of Alexander Hamilton should know how important he is.

And of course, more political enemies such as Thomas Jefferson and James Madison. If you haven’t heard the story of Alexander Hamilton, then you’re in for quite a treat.

Overall, I enjoyed Hamilton and I was glad I got the chance to see it. This is actually a recording of a real play version featuring the original cast. I imagine it would be much better in person though, Broadway plays can have a little bit of a rough translation as a movie.
