One of the most impressive characters in Zelda history not named Zelda, Link, or Ganon, Marin shines in the remake like she did in the original. She finds Link on the beach after his ship is wrecked in a storm.

Her and Tarin (who apparently isn’t her dad, which I don’t understand) find Link and help him out.

She isn’t around the whole game, but she does have a talent for singing.

Which comes in handy during a quest to the next dungeon.

There’s even a scene where she drops big hints that she loves Link.

But funny enough, she too was just part of the Wind Fish’s dream. Meaning when the Wind Fish woke up, she was gone forever.

And Link realizes that the girl that liked him…wasn’t even real. Whoops!
