While I didn’t watch it in its original run, a few years later I watched all the seasons since my mom had them all on DVD. It’s hard to believe that it’s been 17 years since Friends ended. And HBO Max decided to make a special reuniting the cast.

Let me be clear, this is not a special where they act again as their former characters. Much like the Fresh Prince of Bel Air reunion, the cast returns to reminisce about their time on the show and whatnot.

But that doesn’t mean they can’t revive some of the funniest moments on the show. Such as David Schwimmer giving the cast a game of trivia just like how Ross Geller did on the show.

But not only do you hear about the cast and their experiences, but also the show runners who made the entire series possible. Plus you have a lot of guest stars and former minor characters show up that you may have forgotten about.

Overall I really liked the Friends Reunion on HBO Max. I kind of wanted a special episode where you could see everybody’s lives 17 years later, but this reunion was very special in it’s own way. Even though it’s almost 2 hours long, I wish it was much longer. I’m also a little surprised I don’t recall anybody talking about Joey the TV series when Matt Leblanc was taking questions. Score: A-

I imagine a lot of people tuned in. If the opportunity arises, I’ll probably watch it.
I would watch this except I don’t have HBO max
I’ll have to watch this one soon. I loved that show back in the day.
