I’d assume he would have been the best archer in the game.

Either way, after the time-skip he changes very little. But he technically opposes Edelgard on her conquest but tries to avoid war.

But ironically you face him long before Dimitri and Rhea. At least on my route with the Black Eagles. You have a notable yet kind of easy battle against him at some city by the sea.

I expected to have some trouble with him but Byleth took him out with one strike. It’s not fair he got to ride a dragon though. I had the option to kill him or spare him after the battle was over.

And I spared him. He promises to help Edelgard somehow but I never saw him again. I never expected him to be a liar. But I was glad to see him go safely into exile.
