The first real boss in Sonic Forces is by far the worst. I missed out on recent Sonic games, so I didn’t really know who Zavok was or why he was important.

But he frees Sonic so that he can fight him. How very noble and fair.

Though he does jump on a giant hornet robot thing. That’s not very fair.

You have to run around to avoid his laser beams. Which gets harder as the platform gets smaller and smaller.

The thing that made me hate it was actually getting up to Zavok to hurt him. It just seems nearly broken.

It took me quite a number of tries, but I did eventually best him.

Turns out it wasn’t really Zavok, but a “clone” of him by Infinite using a Phantom Ruby or something.
