Another new one for me, as it was only in the 3DS version of Smash 4. I was wondering if there was a Pictochat 2 on 3DS, but that’s just the stage’s name. It’s based on Pictochat on Nintendo DS. It was a messaging application where you could send text and doodles to friends in the same room. While it wouldn’t work so well today, I did spend a lot of time with Pictochat when I had a Nintendo DS back in the day.

While you can’t draw on the stage (obviously) the game does. You never know what you might see. Sometimes it’s a very non-traditional kind of platform.

And then it’s things that can actually hurt…a lot.

While far from my favorite stage I do like it. And I also like how they made homage to a small piece of Nintendo history.
