I always liked Snow White, one of the best characters on the show for good reason. Her incarnation is pretty standard quo for a Snow White. She was a princess, her stepmother was the Evil Queen, and she was awaken by Prince Charming.

But their wedding was the only happy day in their marriage for a long time. As Regina waged war against them. Cursing them to a magical town without magic and they send their daughter through a portal to be the eventual savior.

The whole Regina thing started when Snow White knew Regina liked some kind of commoner guy. She told Regina’s mom, the evil Cora killed Regina’s beau and it wasn’t very good.

She is cursed as Mary Margaret Blanchard, a schoolteacher. And she ends up teaching her grandson Henry Mills without even knowing it. I liked both incarnations of her.

But when the curse is broken, she is firmly on Emma’s side and does anything she can for both Emma and Henry.

Her role starts to diminish over the seasons. She was Mayor of Storybrooke for awhile, but that didn’t go anywhere. She doesn’t appear in the last season except in a cameo role.

Which was pretty much at the end where she crowns Regina as the Good Queen. How very sweet.
