Wii Fit Trainer has been in the series since Smash 4. I don’t remember using her much in the last game, I think I was a little upset about her inclusion, because nobody asked for her. I know the Wii was an important part of Nintendo history, but this was an odd choice. Now with 70+ fighters, I can accept her better.
I also didn’t know there was a male version of Wii Fit Trainer, Nobody ever picks him though, ever.
She’s not the perfect warrior. She lacks a lot of power and her special moves don’t help as much as you’d think. I think her biggest strength is her jumping and evading.
Her Final Smash Wii Fit is one of the better ones. She sends colorful shadows in one direction. On smaller stages you could easily get two or more KOs if you catch them near an edge.
When Kirby absorbs her power, he gets to summon a ball of “solar energy” I think. Whatever the power is, it’s not nearly as powerful as Samus’ orbs nor Lucario’s blast. But it’s not useless, I’ll give it that.
While she’s far from my favorite, I didn’t mind using her and I won a decent bit of matches online with her. You really do have to take some time to master her moves. Though I never understood the deep breathing one. You become a sitting duck just for a small heal and quick stat boost. It’s not even worth trying.
